Who is in the Spotlight?

“But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, He shall testify of Me.” John 15:26

The Holy Spirit has one cause: to testify of Jesus Christ. He is very single-minded. He’s not interested in doing ten things for God – just one.

There are some who get caught up in the Holy Spirit. They focus on what He is doing – through miracles, healings, tongues, and more. Friend, beware of those who focus on making the Holy Spirit the figurehead of their faith.

The mark that a man is filled with the Holy Spirit is that he is always talking about Jesus Christ. He can’t do any more. He can do no less. It’s not about prosperity, or even blessings, it was said of a great preacher from long ago, “if you prick him, he will bleed Jesus”. What runs through your veins, your thoughts, speech. How often do you read books that are about Jesus and not visions, or dreams or blessings or demons or strongholds or even praying.

Only Jesus.

One of the greatest books ever written about Jesus (other than the bible, I had to say that because I will get an email saying that) is by Alfred Edersheim, The Life and Times of Jesus, every Christian should have that book in their library. You can read it for free at CHRISTIAN CLASSICS ETHERAL LIBRARY. (it’s over 500 pages so it’s not the one minute guide to Jesus).

God bless from

I’m still not familiar enough with my Bible to spend a lot of time reading other works about Christ, but I much appreciate your focus here.
    Thank you.

  2. still the best selling book, the bible, still the best source. thanks for your comment and God bless, if only we all read our bibles more and believed what we read.
