There’s a company that I do a lot of business with for my hobby. Today when I went to the mail box there was an expensive gift from them in appreciation of my patronage and being a long time customer. I was surprised as this is the first year they’ve ever done this. So I called the owner to say thanks, he was surprised that someone had taken the time to call. We had a nice chat and he admitted that he was trying to be a blessing for the first time in the area of business.

Which brings me to a couple of obvious questions;

1; are you surprised when God gives you good gifts (why are you surprised)?

2; once you get a gift do you say thanks?

3; are there areas of your life that you’ve excluded God from?

It does not matter where He places me or how. That is rather for Him to consider than for me. For the easiest positions, He must give grace; and in the most difficult, His grace is sufficient. So, if God places me in great perplexity, must He not give me much guidance? In positions of great difficulty, much grace? In circumstances of great pressure and trial, much strength? As to work, mine was never so plentiful, so responsible, or so difficult; but the weight and strain are all gone. His resources are mine, for He is mine! (Hudson Taylor)

God bless from

Thank the Lord for all his gifts.
